Review from Prince of Pinot:
“14.0% alc., 144 cases, $36 Grapes were hand picked in the early morning, cold soaked for 3 days, fermented by inoculation of Assmanshaussen yeast, punched down by hand, and basked pressed into French oak barrels without settling. Aged in barrel a total of 18 months and bottled unfined and unfiltered. · Complex array of aromas and flavors including cherries, berries, brown sugar, mushroom and cardamon spice. There is a vein of oak running through. Light and ephemeral with commendable balance.”
From Sophie Cellars:
“The 2005 Pinot Noir from EMTU diplays candied red fruit and toast with a very long finish which creates what I find to be a superior food wine. Pair with rich duck dishes of confit or duck breast and fruit sauces. No decanting necessary. Cellar through 2010.”
I’m savoring a glass of this wonderful wine right now. I was intrigued by the label and love that you are using organic methods and are advocating the interconnectedness of all life, are living in right relationship to your land and working for the benefit all beings. I went to your website and agree whole-heartedly with the Prince of Pinot that this is a delicious wine. Yum.
Thank you both for what you are doing. And… Bo is a cutie.
Blessings to you both,
