The 2009 is still in tank, clarifying.  A light salmon color and delicate citrus flavors dominate the wine now.  We are anxious to bottle this beautiful, dry, Rosé. To be released  in April, 2010.

2008 was a year of extremes.  A late frost drastically reduced the crop, heavy forest fires darkened the skies for weeks on end, and heat spikes threatened to shrivel the fruit.  Our 2008 Rosé is about a deep in color and bold in flavor as a wine can be and still be called a Rosé.  Yet it still retains a crisp acidity that makes it our favorite with-anything-off-the -grill wine for an afternoon with friends.

A picture perfect growing year and a classic Pinot Noir.  An elegant wine with bright red cherry and acidity and tannins that carry through to the finish.  Bottled  April, 2009, to be released in April,  2010.

The 2006 season presented a multitude of challenges.  Heavy spring rains, heat spikes, dense clusters prone to sour rot Botrytis.   The wine reflects the complexity of the season. Black cherry and blackberry blended flavors with an undertone of earthy forest and mushrooms.  Perfect with Lamb or Portobello mushrooms off the grill.

Racked every 6 months and bottled after 18 months in barrel. · The wine sports a primarily light reddish hue with a hint of violet. A very comforting and elegant wine offering a panoply of red fruits, a touch of oak spice and a smooth and clean finish. Beautifully balanced and stellar in every way.”

“14.0% alc., 144 cases, $36 Grapes were hand picked in the early morning, cold soaked for 3 days, fermented by inoculation of Assmanshaussen yeast, punched down by hand, and basked pressed into French oak barrels without settling. Aged in barrel a total of 18 months and bottled unfined and unfiltered. · Complex array of aromas and flavors including cherries, berries, brown sugar, mushroom and cardamon spice. There is a vein of oak running through. Light and ephemeral with commendable balance.”
