All profits from Emtu Estate Wines are used to improve the lives of people and communities worldwide. In the winter months, when the vineyard is dormant and the wine is resting in barrels, John and Chris Mason travel to work internationally and have participated in disaster relief and community development projects in places such as Kosovo, India, Pakistan, Cameroon, Peru, and Guatemala, Kyrgyzstan, Sumatra, and Haiti.
Currently, we're supporting survivors of the 2017 Sonoma / Napa fires. The recovery efforts will last for years. Reimbursements from State and Federal agencies and insurance companies take a long time, and never cover the full extent of loss. The wheels turn very slowly, and people need support in the mean time.
To help support our fire response efforts, you can purchase wine or make a direct donation to Grapes for Good by visiting our online store.
Grapes for Good is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization and all donations are tax deductible, as allowed by the IRS. 100% of all donations received between now and December 31st will be distributed directly to victims of this disaster.
