Great wines can only come from great vineyards,  uniquely  expressing the combined influences of soils, climate, and farming techniques in that elusive quality the French call terroir. The Labyrinth Vineyard is in a sheltered valley within Sonoma County’s Russian River AVA, renowned for producing world class Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. This remarkable 3 acre, certified organic, solar powered site is home to Emtu Estate Wines, and our home site as well.   

As stewards of this small piece of the earth, we strive to create a complex and diverse ecosystem through our farming practices. Since the initial planting in 1999 the two of us have carried out all of the farming and winemaking operations from pruning, to harvest, to bottle.
